SOUNDWALK AT BUDS IN BLOOM
Sept. 13 • Listen to the Living World
Service Description
Listen to the Living World. A guided journey through the sounds of meadow, forest, creek & waterfall. Join us for a guided Soundwalk at Buds in Bloom, part of the International Forest Bathing & Soundwalk Weekend, a global collaboration between the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT) and Quiet Parks International (QPI). This is an invitation to slow down, become quiet, and practice deep listening—giving our full attention to the sounds of the living world around us. Rather than talking or hiking for distance, we'll move slowly through meadow, forest, and creek, pausing to experience the changing soundscape around us. Through periods of silence and stillness, we'll listen closely to the living world—and to the many sounds that arise when we give a place our full attention. We'll travel upstream through the creek to the waterfall, where we'll settle beside the flowing water and simply listen. This intimate experience is limited to 8 participants. Sunday, September 13, 2026 10:00–11:30 AM $15 per person What to know his experience includes slow walking, periods of silence and stillness, and walking through a shallow creek over uneven natural terrain. Participants will carry a lightweight folding chair or sit pad to use at listening locations. You may choose whichever seating option feels most comfortable for you. Waterproof, closed-toe footwear is required. Because this experience involves natural terrain, creek travel, and carrying your chosen seating, it may not be suitable for everyone. If you have mobility concerns, questions about the terrain, or specific seating needs, please reach out before booking so we can help you determine whether this experience is a good fit. Come curious. Come open. Come listen.
