BELOW THE SURFACE: A FOREST EXPERIENCE
Soil is easy to overlook.
We walk across it, grow in it, build on it and depend on it every day—yet beneath our feet is a living community that supports plants, fungi, pollinators, water and countless other forms of life.
As part of Ohio Soil Health Week, we're inviting you to experience soil a little differently.
Below the Surface is a 2½-hour forest therapy experience at Buds in Bloom Wellness. Rather than a traditional class or lecture, we'll slow down and spend time on the land, using our senses to notice the relationships that exist beneath and around us.
Through guided sensory grounding, gentle exploration, invitations and conversation, we may find ourselves noticing roots, fungi, fallen leaves, decomposition, water, the creatures that rely on healthy soil—and the many ways the land gives back.
