Service Description

As part of Ohio Soil Health Week (Nov. 8-14), join us for a special 2½-hour forest therapy experience exploring the living world beneath our feet. We'll slow down, settle into the land and explore the meadow and forest through our senses. Through gentle invitations, quiet observation and conversation, we'll notice the many relationships that exist below the surface—soil, roots, fungi, leaves, water, decomposition and the countless beings that depend upon healthy soil. You don't need to know anything about soil. You don't need to know anything about forest therapy. Just come curious and willing to slow down. We'll begin with a guided sensory grounding, spend time exploring the land together, and close with tea and an unhurried conversation about what we noticed and what we might carry with us beyond the sanctuary. This isn't a class or a lecture. It's an opportunity to experience the land differently—and perhaps leave seeing the ground beneath your feet in a whole new way. Special Ohio Soil Health Week pricing: $10 Space is limited to 15 participants. Nov 8, 10-12:30pm Gentle walking on natural terrain is part of the experience. Please dress appropriately for November weather and outdoor conditions.
